The Stone Cottage itself is a traditional Irish cottage with a rustic charm. It features a beautiful stone exterior that sits on a 1 Acre fenced yard. The Stone Cottage has a distinctive and timeless appeal. Inside, the cottage is tastefully decorated, combining modern comforts with traditional elements. The ambiance is warm and inviting, creating a cozy atmosphere for guests to unwind and relax.

Unwind in our thoughtfully decorated bedrooms, each adorned with soft linens and plush pillows that guarantee a restful night's sleep. Awake to the sweet melodies of birdsong and the gentle breeze rustling through the surrounding trees, ensuring a peaceful start to your day.

We offer customized concierge services. We can stock the bar or refrigerator on request for your account. We provide a fully stocked pantry at no charge. Should you require reservations at the Eccles Spa or for any Boat Charters we will happily assist. Further for special events we can offer Private Chef (subject to availability) and Celebration Cakes.

Immerse yourself in the beauty of rolling hills, lush meadows, and babbling brooks, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Whether you want to get out on the water, hike the Caha Mountains that divide Cork and Kerry, or relax and reset in the lush setting of Glengarriff’s famous gardens, you’ll be spoilt for choice. And the village, with its friendly pubs, characterful shops and wonderful places to eat, is the ideal hub for your West Cork holiday.

Nestled beneath West Cork’s Caha mountains, and just moments from the islands in Bantry Bay, Glengarriff’s small delightful village is the perfect base for you to relax and explore the south-west stretch of Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way!

This unique nature reserve is a paradise for nature lovers. It boasts ancient oak woodlands, diverse flora and fauna, and picturesque walking trails. You can explore the reserve's network of trails and enjoy the peaceful ambiance while immersing yourself in the beauty of the surrounding landscape.
Just a short boat trip from Glengarriff lies Garinish Island, also known as Ilnacullin. This exquisite island is renowned for its world-class gardens, featuring a mix of exotic plants, colorful flowers, and architectural delights. Take a stroll through the gardens, visit the Italian Garden, and enjoy the breathtaking views of Bantry Bay.
Bantry House and Garden is a stately home situated on the Wild Atlantic Way overlooking Bantry Bay in the south west of Ireland.
The house itself is very special, but the gardens offer loads of space to explore and relax too. The estate is unique since it is still lived in and managed by the family.
Between Glengarriff and Bantry is Ballylickey, while there be sure to stop off at Manning’s Emporium and try some of the famous and delicious dishes. The restaurant is family-run and was originally established in 1946 by Mr and Mrs Manning who started off by supplying businesses with milk, cream and butter.
Just down the road from Garnish Beach, this is a grand little spot for a paddle. It has the same clear, blue water and enjoys the same views. The boat trips to Bull Rock depart from here.
Glengarriff serves as a perfect base for exploring the captivating scenery of the Beara Peninsula and the Ring of Kerry. Both routes offer spectacular coastal vistas, rugged mountains, and charming coastal villages. Take a leisurely drive along these routes and stop by scenic viewpoints to capture some memorable photographs.
Glengarriff's location on Bantry Bay and its proximity to the Glengarriff Nature Reserve make it an ideal spot for wildlife enthusiasts. Keep an eye out for seals basking on the rocks, dolphins swimming in the bay, and a variety of bird species, including herons and cormorants.
Glengarriff offers a range of outdoor activities for adventure seekers. You can go kayaking or paddleboarding in Bantry Bay, take a boat trip to explore the bay's islands and coves, or try your hand at fishing. Hiking, cycling, and golfing are also popular options in the area.
